We have made a lot of progress at our Carmel Valley Residence during August!
Above is a photo of the front entry of the home. The entry stairs have been formed and will be poured soon.
The rest of the steel has been erected on site and much of the wood framing has been constructed. Above is a photo looking towards the entryway and master suite. In the far right corner you can see the framing for the library.
Above is another view of the entryway looking towards the powder room and master bedroom.
Above, is a photo of the main hall taken from the entryway of the home. Clockwise from the bottom left you can see the entrance to the master suite, living room/dining room area, entrance to the kitchen and, in the right foreground, the entrance to the library.
We have made a lot of progress in just one month! Above is a view of the same area (library and kitchen on the right and living/dining room straight ahead) taken last month before the steel was constructed for the roof and LVLs (Laminated Veneer Lumber) for the window system.
Moving further down the hallway, you can see the steel framing for the living/dining area is almost complete. Darren Geyer (left foreground) was on site to paint the steel beams that will be exposed in the throughout the main level of the home.
