Things are moving quickly at our Lobos Views home under construction in the Carmel Highlands. Mary Ann (principal architect and interior designer), Adam Jeselnick (project architect) and Sara Simoni (interior designer) from our office were on site this afternoon to take some photos of the progress so far this month.
Above is a view from the front of the home. You can see the garage, second level and main living area on the third floor.
The stairway is starting to take shape at the home as well. Above is a photo of the stairway to the main entrance; the rebar will be help to reinforce the concrete steps up to the third level of the home.
The view from the living room/dining room is spectacular. The space to the right of the post will be stacking glass sliders leading out to a grass patio. To the left of the post will be fixed windows that look out over the water.
Here is another photo from the dining room looking out towards the grass patio and bedrooms.
The den on the third level is starting to look really good as well. We love how the vaulted ceiling is coming along; we cant wait for the stone to be installed on the walls and the wood flooring to go in!
On the fourth level, work continues on the pool and framing for the master suite.
Todd Hunt of Hunt Brothers Construction discusses the hot tub and pool progress while on site.
