Press Club Progress in August

Posted on August 25, 2014

Work is nearing completion at The Press Club in Seaside. Set to open in September, the cafe/juice bar/social hang out is an exciting addition to Seaside and we are very excited to be part of this historic building’s transformation.

From the street, the windows are finally uncovered, giving those passing by a peak into the soon-to-be-opened cafe/gallery.

The Monterey County Weekly building has been undergoing some major changes the past few months. A portion of the building that previously housed several small shops is being re-vamped into one space will house a small cafe featuring fresh juices and specialty coffees from Perfectly Pressed Juice Bar and Eatery and will also double as a performance space, art venue and meeting space featuring contributors to the Weekly. The new space will offer a much-needed gathering place in Seaside for a variety of cultural events.

We are so excited to be involved with this new space in Seaside and also to have the opportunity to work on such a historical building, originally built by Charles Moore.
